since 1977.
Patio Italian Kitchen has made pizza and Italian dinners from St. James, New York, since 1977, when it opened as Caligiuri’s Patio Pizza. The family’s first restaurant, Caligiuri’s, opened in 1954 on Route 111. We make large cheese, Grandma and Sicilian pies, signature pies like Buffalo Chicken and Stuffed Meat, heroes, pasta, and Italian dinners like Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Cisco and Gino’s Chicken Marsala.
Everything is made fresh every day at 244 Lake Avenue, for dine-in, pickup, delivery or catering. We deliver to St. James, Nesconset, Lake Grove, Stony Brook, Smithtown, Head of the Harbor, Village of the Branch, Nissequogue, Centereach and Hauppauge. What's a Patio-Poni? And a Chicken Pop?
Both are Patio originals rolled in our pizza dough. The Patio-Poni is filled with pepperoni, sausage, peppers, sauce and cheese. The Chicken Pop is chicken, sauce and cheese.
What's the difference between a Grandma pie and a Sicilian pie?
A Grandma pie has a thin square crust with marinara sauce, mozzarella and grated cheese. A Sicilian pie has a thick, airy square crust with tomato sauce and mozzarella. Both are baked in square pans.
